Galtzagorri, a creature from Basque mythology, is a handcrafted figure brimming with joy, mischief, and ancestral magic. This piece, numbered 08/11 from IZAKI's first series, pays homage to Basque mythological imagery through a hand-painted creation, designed to transmit positive energy and bring a smile to your face.

The figure is made of PC-28 resin from a mold created by sculptor Toni Galán, who sculpted the original model in clay, inspired by the illustrations in the book Badira Bagara by Aritza Bergara. I applied acrylic paint by hand to this reproduction, carefully attending to the smallest details, colors, and finishes to bring its playful expression and unique personality to life.

Each Galtzagorri by IZAKI is part of a limited and numbered series, created to bring the legends and beliefs of our ancestors into modern homes. More than just a decorative figure, it is a small piece of mythological inspiration that connects art
